By accessing or using SkillStreamsConnect ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SkillStreamsConnect is a marketplace platform that connects service seekers with qualified service providers. The Platform facilitates job requests, provider matching, communication, and payment processing between parties.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Seeker Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information in job requests.
  • Respond to provider communications in a timely manner.
  • Make payments for services as agreed upon with the provider.
  • Report any issues or disputes through the Platform's resolution process.
  • Do not submit fraudulent, misleading, or spam job requests.

5. Provider Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate profile information and qualifications.
  • Deliver services as described and agreed upon with the seeker.
  • Respond to job requests and communications promptly.
  • Maintain required licenses, permits, and insurance for your services.
  • Do not solicit clients outside the Platform for jobs initiated through it.

6. Credits and Payments

  • Providers use credits to claim job requests. Credit costs vary by job complexity tier.
  • Credits are non-refundable except in cases approved by our support team.
  • All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors.
  • The Platform charges service fees as disclosed during the transaction process.

7. Refund Policy

Seekers may request refunds through the Platform's dispute resolution process. Refund requests are reviewed by our team and processed based on the following criteria:

  • Service was not delivered as described.
  • Provider failed to respond or show up.
  • Quality of service was significantly below expectations.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior towards other users.
  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • Attempting to circumvent the Platform's systems or security measures.
  • Using the Platform for illegal activities.
  • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications.

9. Limitation of Liability

SkillStreamsConnect acts as a platform connecting seekers and providers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles or reviews. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid to the Platform in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
